We are a self-funded, independent rescue dedicated to providing safety, care, and a second chance to cats in need. Whether abandoned, neglected, or simply overlooked, each cat that comes through our doors is treated with compassion, patience, and respect.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome cats while giving them the time and care they deserve. We believe every cat has value, and we work tirelessly to ensure they are given the opportunity to live a safe, healthy, and happy life. Being entirely self-funded & relying on donations means that everything we do from food and shelter to veterinary care is made possible through personal commitment and the kindness of supporters. This allows us to focus fully on the wellbeing of our cats, without compromise.
At Burland Cat Barn, we are more than a rescue we are a place of healing.
Many of our cats arrive frightened or unwell, and we take the time to rebuild their trust and confidence at their own pace. Watching them grow, recover, and eventually find loving homes is at the heart of everything we do. We are always grateful for support, whether through donations, supplies, or simply spreading the word.
